Where does the company name come from?
The name Flukes comes from Roger's seafaring days. Originally named for the flukes of the anchor.
It later translated into our "tongue in cheek" motto:
"If it looks good it's a fluke."
How long has the company been going?
Started in 1987, Flukes is an established, ethical and highly respected company.
Does Roger do original work for sale?
Yes. A large portion of Roger's time is spend working on private commissions - to order.

Our expertise covers an extensive range - from private, fine art commissions to commercial designs. Among our offerings are murals, low relief designs, painting on glass and hand-painted fabrics including curtains and bedspreads. Roger has even hand-painted a carpet.
